Founded by Nige Waugh following almost 4 years of an ever present & increasing love affair with padel. Nige is however first & foremost a loving father of two beautiful kids & husband to his gorgeous wife Lynsey.

Nige played professional rugby union & rugby league for 7 years in the mid 1990 to early 2000’s & then did the ‘corporate athlete’ thing for 20 years. It was a self confessed midlife crisis (or midlife opportunity as he likes to term it) that ultimately brought he & padel together.

He’s enjoyed such tremendous, joyful padel experiences over the past few years, on & off the court, including representing the Australian Padel Masters team at the 2024 world championships in Alicante, Spain that he’s devoting his ‘work life’ to all things padel & helping to bring ‘padel joy’ to the masses.

He is an accredited padel coach via padelMBA, helps set up new clubs & coaching programs, & plays regularly in national tournaments. Outside of his family, he is passionate about health, connection, nature, movement & having fun - Padel Life Retreats adventures (retreats) tick all of these boxes.
